EMG Precision kicks up the power with this Industrial Grade 7.5kW Spindle with an 125mm Diameter form factor and Liquid Cooling and a step up to 6Nm of Torque. This particular spindle is for Medium demand machining.. This is a serious heavy weight performer at just over 25kgs.
Manual Tool Change
EMG Precision presents its range of Manual Tool Change, constant power electric machining centre spindle incorporating just a single tool-spindle interface the highest levels of accuracy and rigidity can be achieved. This provides a precise solution for systems that do not require tool change automation. Standard collets or shrink-fit collets are used as a cost effective medium between tool and spindle. Depending on the model, we use ER8,11,16,20,25,32 Tool Clamping systems for our Manual Tool Change Spindle.
Bearing Protection
Bearings are the life and soul of a precision spindle. We offer two bearing options; a high performance bearing from HRB or a Premium Series from our friends over at GMN a German specialist at the forefront of performance bearings. Please take a look at our Bearings page for more information. Although it is impossible for us to give you the expected life of the bearings as there are too many variables, you can rest assured that EMG Precision use only the best systems and components in order to minimise the rate of wear on your spindle, and prolong its life.
Runout Tolerances
OUR EMG-AT Series spindles achieve concentricity of less than 2microns at the cone. This means that an EMG Precision Spindle gives you excellent surface finish with minimal tool wear. Working to extremely small tolerances as we do means the axis offset is tightly controlled to ensure your spindle spins and wears evenly. To see the locations where the R1 & R2 Accuracy readings are taken please take a look at your MODEL Specific Manual here.
